The last days have been one of the most important weekends of Cologne's skateboarding history. In addition to the big opening of the new Cologne skate plaza „Kap 686" on Saturday, which introduced a new era for Cologne's skaters, a less happy or even sad happening was celebrated on Friday evening: the closing of the Cathedral Square in Cologne.
