Bloodlines Hawaii Camp 2 Highlights

Upon arrival, the Bloodlines pro juniors were greeted with a fading yet clean 4- to 6-foot NW swell as they hit the landing strip. Unlike the ISA crew that preceded them, the older juniors — having previous North Shore experience — came to Hawaii with a different approach, aiming to recharge before resuming their extensive travel and competition schedule for the New Year. With Hawaii’s late season providing mellow crowds and a consistent influx of swell, the squad couldn’t have asked for a more facilitating environment. From the Rocky Point playground to sandy slabs at OTW, the guys pushed to one-up each other every session. Striving to progress their own surfing and nail the best clip, the surfers put on a show for the North Shore’s visiting tourists. Here’s some of the action… Cheee hooo fo da boys! —Blake Pettit
